about Philipp Holtgreve

In early 2024, Philipp founded unconsulting, building on nearly 20 years of professional experience and values. A seasoned logistics expert, who has always worked on the service provider side, leaving his mark in various companies and departments and roles by creating and developing new teams, concepts and business ideas. Digitalization, innovation management and IT became central to his logistics expertise in the years leading up to the company’s founding and have remained so ever since.

Philipp has always harbored an entrepreneurial passion, but it wasn’t until he was almost 40 that he finally embraced the entrepreneurial spirit. Today, with unconsulting, he stands for growth-oriented, affordable unconsulting services with strong bonds for his clients and partners.
He particularly helps medium-sized companies at the intersection of logistics and digitalization to grow and secure sustainable competitiveness.

From their Cologne (Germany) office, Philipp and unconsulting offer services ranging from regional to international. Whether on-site at the customer’s location or remotely, always with the same high level of commitment and quality standards for sustainable and resilient partnerships.

As an experienced manager from the US telecommunications industry, John Leger took over the leadership of what was then a telecommunications underdog in a challenging market environment.

By regularly challenging the industry status quo and consciously breaking with convention, he achieved lasting success in the market. This was achieved in particular through an unwavering focus on customer needs and the brand building of “The Un-Carrier” (in American English, “carrier” refers to mobile phone providers).

Our experience in 4PL supply chain and logistics consulting has been formative.

What is the 4PL model?
As a so-called “4PL”, you assume responsibility for the shipper’s logistics and supply chains and exclusively represent their interests to logistics service providers.

Specifically, they not only analyze challenges and current situations, outline corresponding future scenarios and provide recommendations for action, but they also typically implement and operate these solutions.

The service doesn’t end with concepts and presentations; they also assume responsibility for the implementation, execution and success of the logistics concepts.
